SyncFac is a South African product company. We design, develop and operate digital products, and we take on selected client work where the same standards apply.
SyncFac is an independent technology product company. We design, build, own and operate our own software: platforms, web and mobile applications, and the connected systems that sit behind them.
The first product came out of a working venue rather than a pitch deck. The problem was ordinary and everywhere - an enquiry in an inbox, a seating plan redrawn every show, ticket sales in one system and the bar on a till that knew nothing about any of it. Everything on offer solved one slice and handed back an export to reconcile. So we built EventSync, and then the door and the till became applications of their own.
That is the shape of the company. We find a problem worth solving properly, build the product, run it, and let what we learn operating it inform the next one. Products come out of the factory numbered, and the catalogue grows.
We are based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, and we build for South African operators first: rand, our tax rules, our spelling. The products work anywhere, because currency and locale are settings rather than assumptions baked into the code.

Each product is listed the way we list it internally. The numbering is not marketing: it is the order they came out of the factory.
Where we are

None of that limits where a product can run. Currency, locale and tax are settings in our systems rather than assumptions baked into the code, which is a decision we made early and have never regretted.
